About Meat Church
Central Texas supplied Matt Pittman with the bite he kept thinking about: salt-and-pepper brisket, focused and memorable. That encounter became the opening chapter in the story now told by Meat Church.
Grandma June and Alabama sit at the family end of Matt Pittman's cooking history. He later transformed informal backyard cookouts into competition entries, and barbecue enthusiasm led to BBQ Pitmasters. When he started developing blends, Meat Church Holy Cow became Matt Pittman's first rub.
A shared appetite for better barbecue defines the Meat Church community, with education and seasonings serving the same purpose. Continue through the Learn guideswhenever a process needs another look. Meat Church links that learning to its seasonings and to the pleasure of making better barbecue together.
Matt Pittman lives in Texas with his wife Tracie and their four kids, carrying the same love of cooking into ordinary family time.
